“Where the wild things Rumble”
“A beautiful balance between Photography & Farming”
At the age of 11 I entered a Photography Competition at School and won!! Ive always loved taking photos but after school I decided to become an Aupair in the States which then led me to study teaching and work with children. For four years I ran a little school "Bumblebee Play School" in my home town until FINALLY I decided to pick up a camera and I haven't stopped since.
I’m a born and bred farm girl, I’ve gone from growing up on a farm in Underberg to becoming a Farmer myself, yup you heard right! I got tired of hearing that woman couldn’t be farmers so Im putting a stop to any stereotypes! I started with 10 sheep and now own just over 120 with numbers growing. I have a beautiful balance between Photography & Farming. In 2021 we decided to chase our dreams and took over one of my Dads farms in Underberg where we run Cattle, Sheep, Plant Maize & Potatoes, My husband and I both work hard to maintain a Lifestyle we’ve always dreamed of. Including Building a steel structure shed which we converted into a modern “off the grid” Dream house.
My inspiration with this career path would be my Children Becka & Nate, when I had them I realised that capturing special memories are so important!
I love doing the same for other families, I pride myself in capturing moments between loved ones and in doing so I try to keep it as natural as possible. The less "posed" looks are what I crave. You in your natural being, your happy place. My social skills are on point, one thing I WILL do - is make you laugh!
I enjoy adventure, farm life, the Wild Coast, travel, I guess you could also say that I’m also one of those horsey type people, polo, my animals, coffee, spending time with my husband, my kids and our pack of dogs and lastly I enjoy a good old G&T or two at the end of a really long day....
