Michael & Caeleigh

Caeleigh and I have been friends since varsity days. My fondest memory of the time we spent together would definitely be when she snuck her little Jack Russell pup in to class with us and that pup ladies and gentlemen is featured in so many of these amazing memories captured on their Wedding day.

On Saturday the 16th March 2019 I set off to an early start as I still needed to get to the Gorgeous venue at Toorwoodlea Lode, a two-hour drive, but on arrival (and I often say this) – I was blown away! Everything was ready and well prepared! My camera absolutely loved the colour scheme used.

Once we had completed the Venue and Décor shoot we moseyed on over to do our Pre-Groom shoot – what a laugh a minute! Michael I think you can agree you chose well, you guys were brilliant and super tolerant of me with my lens in your faces!

Thirty minutes later we arrived at Caeleigh’s house where her and her bride tribe were relaxing, taking the day as it came. I loved how light and bright the space was and it definitely set the mood. When your Dad came in and saw you for the first time I think we all got a little emotional.

The ceremony was done to appreciate many different cultures, I’m always drawn to people doing things a little differently so this was a win for me! And the Goosebumps when you walked down that isle Caeleigh – Gosh!

I had such fun with both the Bride and Groom from the Creative shoot through to the Reception. You guys had such a vibe going and the speeches were pretty epic.

“Images captured on ones special day can portray the most amazing love story ever written. I had the pleasure of witnessing Michael & Caeleigh's story. Super proud moment for me as this was my first Big Wedding and I literally had the best day with the Bride, Groom, their Family & Friends. To M&C, you guys are just magic together and yesterday I truly felt a part of it. I still have chills from the amount of love you both bring to the world. Thank you both for this remarkable day, I will never forget it and I wish you all the best going forward....”

At the start of my photography career I received a message from Caeleigh asking if I’d consider doing her Wedding….. uhmmmmm is all I could think of at the time. I remember my heart was pounding and I got all nervous and excited at the same time. I knew I needed to get prepared so I put in a lot of work over the next eight months for this special day, I walked away knowing id done my absolute best….
