Chris & Tash

On Saturday the 23rd February 2019 I drove up to the stunning town of Underberg (my home town) to shoot the most intimate Wedding Ive ever been a part of. When Tash contacted me just under a month ago to capture some of these memories my expectations were definitely overcome on arrival.

The nerves had kicked in for me way before their big day as I knew the great Wolf Avni (Tash’s father) would be there. For those who don’t know who Wolf is, he’s an exceptional landscape photographer with the most beautiful galleries. Go check some of his work out, incredible.

We started our day off at Hair by Olivia’s salon, Ive had my hair done here a few times and boy does she deliver! She did an amazing job with Tash’s hair, would highly recommend her to anyone. We then set off for their family farm just outside of Underberg overlooking the breath taking Drakensberg mountains. While Tash finished up doing her own make up and getting ready i walked down to where the ceremony would be held, i think its safe to say that Underberg is the most beautiful place in the world! Family and friends had helped make it look so special for Chris & Tash, overlooking a dam which gave some beautiful reflections of the clouds above. This was a day time Wedding with just 15 guests which made it so intimate. After the ceremony we got some family photos done before I whisked Chris & Tash away to do a bit of a Creative Shoot.

I love how all these photographs turned out, this was the first Wedding I did on my own and Im just super proud at how it all turned out. Thank you so much to the Bride & Groom for allowing me to come and be a part of your day. I wish you only but the happiest life together going forward.
