Charles & Joanne
On Saturday the 2nd February 2019 we made our way to the stunning venue - The Hilton Bush Lodge. If you are looking for something with a bit of a bush feel then this venue is definitely for you surrounded within its beauty are thorn trees, long swaying grasslands and amazing views. The weather was perfect for their special day and as soon as we arrived we felt the massive amount of love these two families had for each other.
We kicked the day off with the Décor shoot and let me just tell you it was decorated so beautifully that I had already started getting goosebumps, this was before the Bride had even walked down the isle! From there we scuttled over to where the Groom & his Groomsmen were getting ready. I love getting a sense of how friendships were made many moons ago and how every time we enter the Grooms suite theres so much laughter and always a beer in hand. Once this was done we popped in to see how the Bride was getting along. Joanne looked amazing, so elegant.
Nerves had kicked in as we prepared ourselves for the long awaited ceremony. Joanne was walked down the isle by both her Mom and Dad, it was truly such a special thing to see. The day went perfectly, we had such a blast with our Creative Shoot and soon made our way to where the reception would be held.
Joanne’s Sister said the most beautiful speech, a reenactment of a fairy tale story about the Bride & Groom. Jo is from my home town Creighton KZN and I went to school with Charles – small world right!!
I wish all the best for this happy couple - thank you for allowing me to capture these special memories.
